2025

Jaswinder Bolina (English as a Second Language, Copper Canyon Press) is the winner of the $100,000 Kingsley Tufts Award, and Ariana Benson (Black Pastoral, University of Georgia Press) is the winner of the $10,000 Kate Tufts Discovery Award. Congratulations to this year’s winners!

Save the date for the Kingsley & Kate Tufts Poetry Awards Reading and Reception on Wednesday, April 23 from 7:00 pm at Los Angeles Public Library’s Taper Auditorium. Enjoy readings from the award recipients and the esteemed judges, followed by a brief Q&A session, and appetizers. Our winners and judges will be available for book signings during the reception.

Tiana Clark, winner of the 2020 Kate Tufts Discovery Award, returned to Claremont to celebrate her award along with the 2022 winners. A special award celebration and reading took place on April 19, 2022 at the Benton Museum of Art of Pomona College to honor the 2020 & 2021 Tufts Poetry recipients.
